Strathcona Contemporary Exhibition and Art Acquisition

Honored to be have a sculpture in the exhibition this year. Formerly the Strathcona Salon - this year they have expanded the events and length of show. I am also one of the 7 featured artists speaking at the Pecha Kucha event on June 7. Hope to see you out :)

Seven artists from the Strathcona Contemporary exhibition will share their stories with the community and the annual art acquisitions (hosted in collaboration with the Arts and Culture Council of Strathcona County) will be announced.

Family Day Ice Carving Edmonton Garrison

On Family Day is was at the Edmonton Garrison carving in Ice with 2 other ladies, Barb and Janet, all of us SAA members. Great event, lots of family fun :)

Silver Skate Festival 2024 Edmonton Snow Carving

I had the pleasure of being on a team at the Silver Skate Festival’s Snow Symposium/Snow Sculpting Competition. The sculptures are on display until the end of the festival (Feb 19, 2024) at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park (by the Valley Zoo). Seven Teams participated. My partner Barb and I did the Snow Queen’s face with ice burg crown and her wolves fighting on the back side, our team was “Frozen Fantasy” :)

Active Member Exhibition

Honored to have a sculpture in the Gallery@501 Members Show “Inhabiting Spaces”. Show runs in SHerwood Park from December 12, 2023 to January 11, 2024. Reception is Friday December 15 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm - all are welcome and event is FREE.

Dow Centennial Centre Exhibition Now OPEN

My exhibition “Connection” is now open at the Alberta Lottery Fund Art Gallery in Fort Saskatchewan at the Dow Centennial Centre. The gallery is in the foyer of the Shell Theatre. Artist Meet and Greet is Friday November 24, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

The gallery is open weekly on Thursday and Friday 11am to 2pm and during performances at the Shell Theatre.

Wild Skies Gallery Reception

Come by the Wild Skies Gallery at the Edmonton Int’l Airport Rennaissance Hotel, the show runs from July 30 to Oct 27. I have 14 pieces on display (7 sculpture, 7 2D).

Tribute To Cowboy Culture

I have had a sculpture selected to be in the Habitat for the Arts Jasper exhibition “Tribute to Cowboy Culture” running September 2023.

The Celebration

Join us in celebrating Cowboy Culture. Music, hosted by Ray Elliott, will start at 7pm in a family friendly venue at the Cultural Centre on September 16. Then, on Sunday September 17 at 7pm there will be an opening for a ‘western themed’ art exhibition show and sale in the Habitat for the Arts. The show will run from September 17 to September 30.

It's a Tactile World

I will be exhibiting along with the Sculpture Association of Alberta at the Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove - Spruce Grove Gallery. Their show “It’s a Tactile World” runs April 11 to May 15. Reception is Saturday April 15, 1 to 3pm.
