About the Art: This sculpture was done during COVID lockdowns. I had been working with a local live model and started several sculptures, including this seated position. During lockdowns I decide to finish this piece and it became evident is was about those moments connecting with nature, relaxing by a body of water. Sitting quietly, reflecting, and relaxing, this woman in her bikini is sitting on her towel with flip flops beside her. Her peaceful expression inspired the name Zen.
