About the Art: This sculpture is part of the series “It’s a Dog’s Life”. My rescue dog Maggie likes to sleep on her back on the couch and she inspired this sculpture. She is a lab cross, but I tried to have the sculpture be a blend of dog breeds, just like her. I love how her lip falls open and how trusting she is in this pose.
